Most of our mouldings and mount boards are FSC sourced, so we can purchase stock with the confidence that we are not contributing to the destruction of the world’s forests.
Mouldings
We have a large variety of traditional, contemporary and modern moulding designs. Our stocked mouldings include: Bare Wood Mouldings, Black Mouldings, White Mouldings, Gold Mouldings, Silver Mouldings, Slip Mouldings, Wood Veneer Mouldings, Plain Wood Mouldings, Natural Wood Mouldings, Coloured Mouldings, Limed Wood Mouldings, Fillet Mouldings and Aluminium Mouldings. Mount Card
Mount card’s have two main purposes; to keep the glass away from an image to avoid Newton rings occurring, and to create an eye catching border around an image. We only use Conservation Grade Mount Card and Cotton Museum Mount Card for items of high value.
White Core
Available in a wide assortment of colours, we can advise you on the best combination based on the colours within the image and where the picture will be hung.
Black Core
Black-core mount board, when cut, creates a stylish effect on the bevelled cut or in a v groove as it reveals a strong, fine black edge that creates a defining inner mount effect.
Metallic Mount
An effective undermount that is extra thick to add extra depth to an image.
Suedette Mount
Effective for medal frame presentation to create a more luxurious look.
Glass
2mm Float Glass
Standard glass for bespoke picture frames, it preserves your picture in normal conditions.
4.4mm Laminated Float Glass
Great for large projects and public spaces.
Diffusion Glass
Ideal for hanging your framed image in a light source to reduce reflection.
UV Protection Glass
Great to protect sensitive artwork from fading.
Water White Glass
Good for framed images that are hung in a light source as it reduces reflection – provided the image itself isn’t too reflective.
Museum Glass
The ultimate glass for protection and observing.
Acrylic Glass
Perfect for large pieces, public areas and regularly transported artworks.
Styrene Glass
Perfect for children’s rooms because when the glass breaks, it is less likely to have sharp edges.
